Happy Halloween

Tonight we went to the Packinghouse' Halloween Alternative. We had a lot of fun. Autumn had a great time running around and looking at all the costumes and sights. Here are Autumn and Ryan hugging.

This past weekend we went to a pumpkin carving party with friends.

Our Little Pumpkin

This past Friday we took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. This was Autumn's first trip. She really enjoyed it.

It's a mouse, ewwww

So the past few days we have been on a mouse hunt. Tom did some reorganizing of the garage and thinks he disturbed a mouse nest. The mice decided to come and check out the house. We have lived here 4.5 years and I have never seen a mouse until now. So gross. We set up all sorts of boards and bins to try and catch the mouse. We have caught 3 so far. We are hoping that is it, but we now have traps set in the house and the garage. Here is the contraption we set up to catch the first mouse we saw

Today I found one in the trap I set in Autumn's room. I went to pick it up and the mouse was still alive. YUCK! I thought those traps were suppose to kill them. I feel much better knowing that we caught the one in Autumn's room.

The past three weeks my mom has been down visiting from Oregon. On Saturday my Dad showed up to surprise us all. He rode his motorcycle down all the way from Oregon, It took him like 18 hours to get here. He stayed for 1.5 days and then he went back. We were all so excited to see him.
