Spring photoshoot

Tom and I had a blast this afternoon taking pictures of Autumn out in the garden. She wasn't so sure about the plants and didn't really like sitting in them, but we got some cute pics anyway. Enjoy!!

Happy Birthday Tom

Tom's birthday is on Tuesday, but we celebrated this weekend with his family. On Sunday Autumn and I had Tom open his gift from us early, I was way to excited to wait until Tuesday. He got a canon rebel XT and boy did he love it. He has been fiddling with ever since. We also got his some new shoes. Tomorrow we will be going out to eat at his favorite place, Casa Trejo. YUM! We had a great weekend. Thank you Jesus for blessing me with a great husband and Autumn with an awesome daddy. Happy Birthday Tom!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY...

Fun filled weekend

This weekend we took a walk to the park by our house. We had a lot of fun. Tonka (the dog) played and ran around and we had fun putting Autumn up on the slide and pushing her in the swing. She wasn't sure what we were doing but she's a trooper, she lets up get our cute pictures of her.

Here is one of the head bands I made on Thursday night with a couple of friends. We had a blast.

I captures these great pictures of Autumns first real movements toward crawling. YIKES! She is trying so hard to move forward, but always ends up going backward.

Big Girl

Autumn is 6 months old now. I took pictures of her last night. These past six months have gone by pretty fast and I can't believe she is half of a year already. I look forward to the next six months as many more changes will be taking place (crawling, walking, talking, eating new foods, and so much more). We also decided to try Autumn in her big girl car seat and so far she seems to like it. It's weird carrying her the car to put her in her seat. She looks small in her new seat.

Paint and Play

This weekend we went over to Dan and Bekah's to help them paint. While everyone was Painting I was having fun with Ryan and Autumn. It is so neat to see them smile and talk to each other. Who knew babies could interact at such a young age. They're the best of buds already.

no more swaddle

Last night we put Autumn in a sleep sack instead of swaddling her. Arms out and all and she slept great. We are excited that she can now fall asleep on her own without being all wrapped up tight. We have been looking forward to this day and it has finally come. No more swaddle!! Yea!!

trying new things

Today we tried Autumn with a sippy cup and she did great. I set it on her tray and she grabbed it and knew just where to put it. At first she chewed on the tip but then she figured it out. We are so proud of her. We are going to start using a cup with her everyday now at one of her feedings so she gets used to it.

Today I decided to walk to Del Taco for lunch with Tom's cousin. It was a little chilly, but not to bad. About half way there it started sprinkling, just our luck. We ate and walked home. It ended up clearing up about half way home. Good thing I bundled up Autumn.

Yesterday I was a little bored so I decided to follow the crowd and finally start a blog. I took these pictures of Autumn and I thought I would share them with everyone. ENJOY!

Well Autumn has been having some tummy issues over the past couple of days and so she has been a little fussy. I guess adjusting to food has proven difficult on her digestive system. We are just praying her tummy starts to feel better soon. We are back to rice cereal and starting all over again on foods.
