Trip to Washington

Glitter star

 Our first Christmas craft. We decided to decorate for Christmas a little early since we are leaving for Thanksgiving. The girls have their own tree in their room, but it needed a star so we decided to make one. A little paint and some glitter and perfect.

 

Indoor swimming

 We were having one of those days that seems to go on forever and we were getting bored. So we decided to go swimming this afternoon in the bathtub. I got the idea off of another blog. Autumn was a little confused at first but she then ran to get her and Madi's swimsuits. We blew bubbles in the bathroom and just tried to kill some time and have fun.

 Madison played for about 15 minutes and then she was done but Autumn played for 50 minutes. I think we will be doing this again, especially when the rainy weather comes and we are stuck indoors. 

Indoor bowling

 We did a little indoor bowling yesterday. The girls had fun. We just used some empty water bottles for pins. Since the weather has been cold we just needed to find something that was fun and new that we could do indoors.

Count down to see my parents

 My parents decided to have us up for Thanksgiving. They just moved in there house this week. We are beyond excited to be able to visit them for Thanksgiving. I will be traveling alone with the girls because Tom can't get any time off work. Tonight we decided to make a countdown calendar. Each day we will pull a ring off (starting at the bottom) and when we reach the airplane that is the day we leave to the airport to go and see them. 16 days and counting.We can't wait!

Halloween 2011

 We had a fun Halloween this year. We went to walk Downtown Redlands and Autumn got a ton of candy, then we went to the church. Pony rides, bounce houses and games. Autumn had so much fun.

 Madison went on the pony ride for the first time. She was going nuts in line and was so excited, but we we got on the pony she was a little unsure. She rode for a few minutes and then was done.

 It was pretty warm out so we waited till it go cooler to put her costume on.
