VBS and vacation to Washington

Autumn attended her first Vacation Bible School this summer. She only went 2 days because we left for vacation but she had a blast.
They had around 2 hundred preschool kids attend this year.
Tuesday night we left for the Airport and headed to visit my parents in Washington.

The girls did great on the plane.

We had so much fun visiting them. Look how green it is.

 We found this HUGE slug
 Madison and my dad
My mom bought the girls a dress up chest, they had a blast trying on all the different outfits
We had a fire 2 nights while we were their and roasted marshmellows

 Yum!
One day we went into Seattle and spent the day just the 4 of us. We ate on the water and walked around Pikes place

On the way home we stopped to let the girls play on the playground near my parents house
We ate dinner outside almost every night. I loved that, I so look forward to having a backyard and doing that
Autumn and my mom playing play-doh
Walked around the mall one rainy afternoon. They had a jump house place and the girls played in their for a while
Another day we went to the zoo. Great place, lots to see and touch

Autumn got to feed the birds and the giraffe

 Daddy turtle

 Going for a ride
Tom and I went on a little date to the falls and then to lunch
Always fun to end the night in the spa
We had so much fun and this truly was a relaxing trip. We miss Grammy and Pop already and want to go back.

Autumn's swim lessons

We decided last minute to put Autumn in swim lessons. She had fun. She always listens better for other people so we thought we could put her in to learn the basics and then work on them this summer. She did so well. There were 3 kids in her class
 Using the kick board
 Practicing floating on her back

Madison loved to go and watch too. One day she even decided to get in a copy what the big kids were doing (they were hanging on the wall, practicing kicking their feet).

Autumn learned to go under water, they even dove for rings
Looking forward to putting her in lessons again next year

Fourth of July

We had a nice relaxing fourth of July. we went to my brothers and swam most of the day. The kids had so much fun.

Madison's favorite place was on the big step.
 Going under the waterfall

Autumn and Ryan had so much fun jumping in from the side

Madison was in the pool almost the entire time, her feet were so wrinkled up

After we swam we headed to a friends place near the U of R and hung out to watch the fireworks. The kids had a blast. What a great day!
