Owl handprint craft

Today we made an owl, and for the wings be used our hand print. You could do this on really nice paper and say something like " Whooo's the best Dad ever?"  and use for a gift for fathers day.

Ladybug craft

Today we made a ladybug craft. All you need is a paper plate, black construction paper, glue and red paint.
Paint the plate red and then add black circles for the spots, a black line for the middle, black half circle for face and little black rectangles for the legs. Autumn added wiggle eyes to hers. You can make it as simple or detailed as is age appropriate for your child.

Happy crafting!

After it dried I scrunched it up and wrapped a pipe cleaner around it. (you could also use a close pin).
My girls love to do crafts

Mirror image painting-butterflies

Today we made these beautiful butterflies. First I filled some plastic eggs with watered down paint, then I let the girls shake the paint (there was 2 holes at the bottom of the eggs) onto half of the butterfly. Then we folded the other half over  and rubbed it down and then the paint transferred to the other wing of the butterfly.
 It turned out pretty
 Here is Madison's
More crafts coming this week. All about caterpillars and butterflies.
