Beach trip 2012

 We went to the beach Saturday with friends. We had a blast. Here is our set up

 In past years Autumn has not liked the water and waves but this year she LOVED it. I was so happy that she enjoyed it

 After the beach we all went to In N Out and then to sprinkles to try their cupcakes, boy were they yummy.

So blessed by the friendships we have and so much fun to watch the kids grow and develop friendships too.

Finger print cherry tree

 All you need is a toilet paper tube, construction paper and paint. Paint tube brown, then cut out tree top shape and have kids use their finger prints to make cherries, apples or you can use fall colors for the leaves changing color. Cut two little slits in tube and slide on tree top.

What we've been up to

 We cooled down just a little so we decided to take advantage of it and go for a bike ride. It was still hot. But we found a fun way to cool off. We found about 3 different sprinklers that we could go by and get wet along the way. The girls thought that was so much fun

Friday we went to Yucaipa Regional park and played in the water and sand. I love this place it's like the beach and the park in one and its super close. We enjoyed the company of a few friends

Saturday we were invited to our neighbors for a birthday party. The girls got to try out the slip n slide for the first time. They both loved it!

Last week was crazy busy but super fun.

Preschool activity

Today I made a discovery bin. I put in Autumns site words she is learning in school, plus a few words we have been working on at home. I also put in about 6 clear marbles for her to find. Love this activity not only is she reinforcing what she is learning she is also having fun.
