Valentine activity/tradition

I thought I would share what I will be doing starting February 1st with the girls. I made these felt envelope pouches and they will hand on the back of the chair, Madison will hang on her high chair. Starting Fed. There will be a surprise it is every morning.
Most days it will be a sweet note to my girls or a craft for them to do. A few of those days there will be a special toy or snack. This was so inexpensive to do. About $7 total for everything including the pouches I made. What a sweet time to give extra praises and loving words to my girls.
Looking forward to this and to see their sweet faces light up.

A few fun pics and a toddler activity

Thursday we went for a walk to the store (I love living within walking distance to places). Autumn told me she needed to run so she could get her energy out. lol. Madison loves to go on walks too

Just stopping to smell the roses
Today is Saturday which is Autumn's favorite day because daddy is home and she gets to go help him outside. For snack I decided to put it in easter eggs and let her go hunt for them. This is a great activity to do inside too, especially on those rainy days. She had fun. Who doesn't like a good easter egg hunt.
 found another one

A whole basket full. I just filled them with fruit snack and animal crackers
Happy Saturday

Valentine's Craft

Marble paint heart. All you need for this craft is:
Construction paper heart, Paint, marbles, and a container (I used a plastic lid from one of those silver baking dishes that you bake and toss when finished). Just put the heart in the container and throw in some blobs of paint and a few marbles, let your child roll the marbles back and forth and up and down.
Finished product below. We added a little red glitter for some sparkle.

Traditions

This week we started a new family tradition. I did this growing up. All of our Christmas cards that we got for Christmas we kept and every nite before dinner we pick one and pray for that person. It's fun to be able to teach Autumn about prayer. Looking forward to praying for all our friends and family over the next month.

Toddler activity

What do do with all those spikey balls that fall off the tree? I know what your thinking, what could you possibly do with all those things. If you have this kind of tree in your yard you know what I'm talking about. These things fall off the tree like there is no end. You rake and then the next day they are everywhere. So I decided to come up with something fun to do. We went outside to play chalk and I decided to draw a bullseye on the driveway. We then proceeded to collect a bucket full of these spikey balls. Then I drew a box for Autumn to stand in and she had to try and get the ball in the rings of the bullseye.

She had a lot of fun playing this game
She did really well and even got one in the center
Madison enjoyed chalking it up while we played

Have fun, Be creative.
