Random pictures

So here is what's happening around here today. Madison is FINALLY cutting her first tooth. I can see it just below the gums.

This was from last weekend. Autumn loves to be outside when Tom is working. Here is her and Tonka chillin on the gate together. We have been doing some serious demo of the back yard and Tom had to make the gate open up so we could get a truck back there to pull out some tree stumps. I will post pictures of the backyard as we start to do it.

Project complete

So I have been working on a few projects and they are finally finished.
I made Autumn's 2 dollar plain flip-flops look a little cuter by adding a bow.

I made these shirts for the girls. We hav Disneyland passes this year and thought it we be fun for them to have cute shirts. This was my first real sewing project, so I hope to get a little better as I do it more

I've been working on making shirts for the girls. I still have to stitch around the letter but so far so good. Madison has a shirt to but she has to grow into it.

Autumn is so her daddy when it comes to showing her enthusiasm for things. She talk and talks about wanting to do something and when we get there she is such a watcher and has the most serious face, then when it's over she talks about how fun it was. Too funny!
We had a great day. It was so hot out it felt like summer which I am looking forward to.

Today we had Madison dedicated. What a special time to thank God for her and remember what a gift she is.

Family Night

So we have started doing a family night the last couple of weeks. It has been a blast. Tom gets out his guitar and we sing worship songs with Autumn and Madison, Then we play a game or do something fun with the 4 of us.

Doing a floor puzzle together

I think our favorite game so far that we have made up is Bumbo ball. We have played that game quite a bit. So far family night has seem to happen on Thursday nights. I look forward to start doing board games together.

Something else we have started doing is reading a devotion after we eat dinner. I found this book at the packinghouse book store. It's perfect for Autumn. It has a little story and then questions about what we just read and a verse for each day. My goal is to start having Autumn memorize verses each week. Haven't started that quite yet, but soon.
